Are you up for the Challenge?
Troon invites you to experience great golf combined with friendly competition at the Troon Challenge, a series of amateur golf tournaments contested at several of the world’s finest golf courses. Regional qualifying events are held throughout the year at Troon courses across the United States. The lowest Gross and Net scores of the entire field at all regional events will qualify for the Troon Challenge National Finals hosted in 2020 at Seven Canyons and Sedona Golf Resort in stunning Sedona, AZ!
The Troon Saguaro Amateur Series
The Troon Saguaro Amateur Series, founded in 2017, is a circuit of amateur golf tournaments providing high-level amateurs, college players, juniors and Troon-facility club champions a chance to compete throughout the year. Host sites of annual tournaments include:
- The Sizzler at Troon North Golf Club
- The Silverado Amateur at Silverado Resort and Spa
- The Gobbler Amateur at Sewailo Golf Club
- The Agave Amateur at Shadow Hills Golf Club
- Both the Tucker Amateur and Saguaro Amateur, the original event in this series, at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club

All Series events are World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and Scratch Player World Amateur Ranking (SPWAR) ranked events. Each event winner and top point earners will earn exemptions into the season-ending Saguaro Amateur at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes.
