GOLF AT WHISTLING STRAITS
- Four person teams. Three amateurs and one PGA professional (Or, an Am playing as the Pro) per team.
- 2023 field limited to 25 teams
- Four (4) rounds of tournament golf Wednesday through Saturday
- Each Team will play two (2) rounds each on Straits course and one (1) round each on Irish Course & Blackwolf Run (River) Course
- There is a professional purse
1 Best Ball (Gross) and 1 Best Ball (Net) on each hole combined for team score
You must use (2) Two separate balls for the low gross and low net scores.
Amateurs will receive 80% of their course handicaps with a maximum of 24 allowed for men and 36 for ladies.
We will be using each amateur’s most current index prior to the event start.
TIES
Broken by the lowest score on the back nine on the final day. If still tied, last 6 holes, then last 3 holes, then 18th hole backwards until a tie is broken.
OVERALL PRIZES (TEAM + PROFESSIONALS)
Top six (6) overall teams and Top six (6) Professionals will win
Tournament awards presented at Saturday Night’s Awards Banquet.
OPTIONAL COMPETITIONS
On-Course: There will be optional daily hole-in-one competitions available
Player Buy-in: Each player will have the option to buy-in on the daily skins game
$120 per player for each skins pot

POLICY FOR PLAY
Our Pro Am policy for all players is designed for maximum enjoyment and equality in competition.
Troon Events Pro-Am Senior play policy is 55 years & older. (Amateurs & Professionals). Date of birth is to-the-day of tournament start.

Straits Course
- Male Professionals: 7,142 yards – Blue Tees
- Male Amateurs & Senior Professionals: 6,663 yards – Green Tees
- Male Senior Amateurs: 6,360 yards – White Tees
- Lady Professionals: 5,922 yards – White/Red Tees
- Lady Amateurs: 5,564 yards – Red Tees
Irish Course
- Male Professionals: 7,027 yards – Black/Blue Tees
- Male Amateurs & Senior Professionals: 6,750 yards – Blue Tees
- Male Senior Amateurs: 6,366 yards – Green Tees
- Lady Professionals: 5,613 yards – White/Red Tees
- Lady Amateurs: 5,109 yards – Red Tees
Blackwolf Run (River) Course
- Male Professionals: 6,865 yards – Blue Tees
- Male Amateurs & Senior Professionals: 6,507 yards – Green Tees
- Male Senior Amateurs: 6,110 yards – White Tees
- Lady Professionals: 5,602 yards – White/Red Tees
- Lady Amateurs: 5,115 yards – Red Tees
